Advanced Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Training Being Offered August 7-9

This 3-day class is designed for anyone that would like to learn about opportunistic criminal behavior and how environmental factors can encourage or deter such behavior.

This class is for law enforcement, community leaders, city planners, traffic engineers, building inspectors, code enforcement, block captains, fire fighters, or anyone interested in learning advanced crime prevention strategies.

Participants will learn advanced level design and evaluation techniques, advanced level lighting, landscape design, and site reviews which can add to the improvement in community policy and quality of life issues.

Training includes “hands on” experience on evaluating sites, lighting design, community development plans, and human behaviors.
