FREE ATF Privately Made Firearm "Ghost Gun" Training

The ATF Denver Field Division is hosting FREE training presented by the ATF Firearms and Ammunition Technology Division. This training is intended for sworn law enforcement officers, Crime Scene Investigators, Evidence Technicians and Prosecutors on Privately Made Firearms (PMF), commonly referred to as “Ghost Guns”. This free training will help law enforcement professionals identify PMF’s or “ghost guns”, Glock conversion devices and homemade silencers. Additionally, the training will discuss Crime Gun Intelligence, legal issues and solutions surrounding PMF’s and how to build a PMF and machinegun conversion device case.

There is a single two-hour abbreviated Executive Session available, for law enforcement command staff. There are (3) four-hour sessions designed for officers and prosecutors. This training may be appropriate for CSI, Crime Analysts and Evidence Technicians as well, all of which are also welcome. You only need attend one session, as each session covers the same content.

This free training is not open to the public or media. Videography and photography are not permitted. Please bring your department ID if not in uniform. RSVP is required. Register by June 17th.
